      Overview

This is a program I wrote for CNTR 300. I no longer have photos of the panel, so I built this simulator from the program file. It solves the same rungs and shows every I/O point live. The machine itself is a simplified model, and its timing is illustrative.

      How it works

A piece of luggage arrives on the lower conveyor. In auto mode, the lifting cylinder raises it, and the thrust cylinder pushes it onto the upper conveyor. The lift only lowers once the luggage has left it, and the thrust cylinder retracts when it reaches full extension. A latched AutoS bit runs the sequence, and Stop, Reset, or switching to manual unlatches it.

In manual mode, a counter turns the Start button into a step control:

      1. The first press raises the lift.
      2. The second press extends the thrust cylinder.
      3. The third press retracts it and lowers the lift.

An initial position lamp lights when both cylinders are home and the sequence is off.
